'Read Between the Lines': My 'Pomes'

I wish to walk by the sea shores,

With my hand in yours,

Till the other end of the world,

And explore the unseen beyond,

Your footprints will my path become,

Step by step, you’ll usher me,

Into your world, and the warmth of your arms,

Make me rediscover myself in you,

All conversations, when your eyes meet mine,

Will in the heavens resound,

And silence all monologue of the lashing sea waves,

As I construe your language of love,

At times I’ll be coy,

Like the waves, which withdraw into the seas,

And will fling myself in your arms, widespread as the sky,

Like the waves hit the shores again,

All lilac of the dawn in the horizon,

Will my blushes be,

When my lips will bloom as the lotus,

To convey, the unsaid, in your ears,

You’ll my anthem of love hear,

And about the birth of the horizon,

The secret of how the earth met the sky,

And that your world is the same as mine,

My world is the same as yours,

My world is but in your arms alone,

Because without you there is no there is no grandeur in My World,

Because in your arms alone rests My World …

'Read Between the Lines' - 'My Pomes'

Before the bee hovers around the lotus,

Rise my sun, in the east,

And burn me down with your warmth,

From my ashes I’ll like the phoenix rise before you again,

Before the water lily loses its nectar,

Rise my moon, in the sky,

And freeze me to death with your chill,

I’ll bloom afresh before you again,

Before the bee casts its sting on the fragrant rose,

Be the thorns My Love,

And tear my petals gently into shreds,

I’ll shower you with fragrance again,

Allow nothing else to partake of my love for you,

This body, mind and soul of mine,

Is for you, and for you alone,

For you alone it’ll bloom,

For you alone it’ll wilt,

For you alone it’ll spread its fragrance in the air,

Because without you, there is no grandeur in My World,

Because in your arms alone rests My world ...

'Read Between the Lines' - 'My Pomes'

I walked along the sea shores,

To catch a glimpse of your abode,

On the other side,

In the lashing sea waves,

Did you my yearnings hear?

In anticipation, I reclined,

On the wet sea sands,

To catch a glimpse of your peaceful countenance,

In the widespread skies above,

Did you in the lilac of the sunset my blushes see?

I continued with my voyage,

To reach your abode,

And walked into the sea waves,

Towards the horizon,

Where the azure sea meets the blue sky,

My footprints on the sands,

The waves had wiped off,

You’d never know,

When I came and went off,

But the faith in my heart for you,

The waves can't erase,

Nor can the wind blow out,

It’ll shine unsteadily for ages untold,

I’ll be at the point,

Where two shores converge,

I’ll be in the horizon,

Where the sea meets the sky,

I’ll be the dawn and I’ll be the dusk,

Where the sun and the moon meet,

And await but a glimpse of your peaceful countenance,

Bearing your love in my heart,

And hands widespread,

Awaiting that moment,

When you’ll take me in your arms,

And I’ll close my eyes in eternal peace,

Never to wake up from my sleep,

Because without you there is no grandeur in My World,

Because in your arms alone rests My World …

'Read Between the Lines' - My 'Pomes'

Take my hand in yours, and I’ll show you my world,

Where all brightness is your alluring charm,

And the eternal sun rises at your command,

Your spirit is all the life-giving air,

And the perennial brook your oceanic love rears,

It’s symphony forever in the music of birds and bees,

Who hail your name and in your praise cheer,

Where every flower is fragrant with your memories,

And all fruits in the orchards your temptations bear,

All shade of the trees is your cool shadow,

And your evergreen smiles are the lush green meadows,

In the waning moon you play hide and seek,

Making me lose all my sleep,

And still be the starlit night with your dreams,

When my heart awaits your glimpse in emotions deep,

It’s all but a hand away from you,

Take my hand in yours and I’ll show you my world,

You might think whether it exists at all,

And if at all does, then where at all,

It’s all in the warmth of your arms,

Where My World exists,

Where I can get that peace of mind,

And eternally rest in peace,

Because without you there is no grandeur in My World,

Because in your arms rests My World …
