'Read Between the Lines': My 'Pomes'

Where the dew drop from the night skies,

Falls upon the lonely lotus leaf in the pond,

And longs to rest its fragile self there forever,

But slips down the leaf and becomes one with the pond,

There will you find me longing for you my love,

Where a tiny pebble from the cold sands,

Upsets the still of the pond,

And sets several ripples,

Resounding unrest in the air,

There will you find me longing for you my love,

Where the eternal sun,

Shuttles between the earth and the sky,

All day long,

Craving to touch the horizon,

There will you find me longing for you my love,

Where the lonely cuckoo sings its heart out in the wake of spring,

And flies from branch to branch, hops from tree to tree,

Yearning to be seen,

There will you find me longing for you my love,

Where caricatures along the beach sands,

Get swept away by the wanton sea waves,

Where a broken leaf from the tree,

Longs to attach itself to its tree,

Where a broken star from the sky,

Longs to get back to its sky,

There will you find me longing for you my love,

Because without you there in no grandeur in my world,

Because in your arms alone rests my world…
